2022 Tarot: What Lady Fortune brings?

We’ve all been through a tough year and therefore most people’s anxiety has skyrocketed. In hopes to bring a smile to some people and maybe some ease, I asked my cards for what we could expect for 2022. Here is what they said:

1.     General Message of the Year: Bear Spirit; Take time out

The general message of the universe for the year is to take time out and think of our next steps. After all this lockdown one would think that it is time for action; the universe says “no”. It is time to think how to move and navigate ourselves through this changed yet familiar reality that we have after the pandemic.

2.     What we Leave Behind: The Moon

The Moon has many meanings, but I wholeheartedly think that there is one message coming forward; no more darkness shall be in our way. People had a semi-“hibernating” period during the pandemic and now they leave the darkness behind and enter the light. It is time to face the new situation (after we think about how to handle it).

3.     Entering State: Page of Wands

Page of wands is about new passions and new adventures. People are entering a state in which they are ready to pursue what drives them. Expect new beginnings in 2022, especially in matters of career, arts and travelling.

4.     What is in our minds: Tower – Death – Wheel of Fortune

This is a beautiful combination to have as a mindset for the general public. Tower is about situations that come out of the blue and shake us, thus I think the pandemic. Death is about rebirth to a new stage of life; “out with the old in with the new” as they say. Wheel of Fortune is a change of events for our favor. We were shaken by the pandemic, we changed through it and now we are ready to pursue the new and take our chances.

5.     Subconscious: Queen of Swords

The subconscious leads the conscious (which is represented by the number four) and therefore is the main driver of our actions. In this position we see the beautiful Queen of Swords. She is the toughest queen who has been through a long journey of self discovery. Now she has found her truth and holds it in her hands like a sword. Similarly, I think most people have been through a transformation within the pandemic and now they are ready to hold their new truths close to their heart and move proudly with them.

6.     Future Energy: Three of Cups

Three of Cups is about celebration with friends. After all this renewal we are ready to communicate again. Expect to find more people to celebrate life with and be ready to party again.

7.     Possible challenges: Three of Swords – Five of Swords

This is a very tough combination to go through. Three of Swords is about heartbreaks and Five of Swords is about “battling till death”. There is a possibility of many different arguments throughout the year that may take an ugly turn. The good news is that swords are about thoughts; hence if someone changes their mindset the upcoming arguments and bickering may be avoided.

8.     Possible Opportunities: Strength

Strength in this position shows that there may be some upcoming challenges; however we are ready to take them on and come out of them as winners. It also shows that we may be able to build for the future.

9.     Outcome if we take said Opportunities: Seven of Pentacles

This is a card about “Planting your seed and letting it grow”. Slowly in the long term the challenges that came with “Strength” will bear fruits. Pentacles is also about tangible things, so expect money, healthy relationships or job contracts when this card starts showing its energy.

10.  Advice:

Aquina – Don’t stop moving ahead; great things are on the horizon: This advice matches perfectly with the “Strength” card. Maybe some challenges in 2022 seem tough, but if we push through then sweet results will await!

Rubi and The Foxflighters – Your vibe attracts your tribe: this matches perfectly with the possible challenges of Three of Swords and Five of Swords. In 2022 we will probably have to rethink our own presence and how our actions affect our social environments instead of being trapped in the “what he said, she said” mindset.

Maggie – Hug someone today: I think this goes for everyday; don’t forget to show love to loved ones. It makes hard times go by more easily.

11.  General undertone: Two of Swords – Porcupine Spiti: Time for a beginner Mind

Finishing the reading with the undertone of 2022; many decisions lie on the road and in order for us to make the right choices we will need to adjust our mindsets to this new way of living.
